My Story

After studying Human Biology at Birmingham University and spending time in pharmaceuticals, I quickly realised I’d rather be working with people than test tubes. I’ve never looked back.

I spent the next decade building my HR career across several industries — from multi-site retail management at ALDI, to senior HR leadership roles in the UK Government, where I led strategy, culture change and workforce development, and received several Civil Service awards along the way.

I’ve also delivered HR advisory and AI training internationally, working with organisations across South America in both English and Spanish, and have been recognised as one of the most powerful voices on AI in Latin America.

Mera Consultancy is named after Mera Peak (6,476m) in the Himalayas — a mountain I summitted in 2022 with my dad.

CIPD Level 7 qualified, I work with organisations and individuals across the UK and internationally on HR strategy, employee relations, AI in the workplace, and leadership development.
